Townsend Chemicals’ RE-ADD urethane adducts are a comprehensive, versatile range of polyurethane adhesive raw materials.When dissolved in suitable solvents, they produce polyurethane adhesives that also work perfectly as surface coating systems. Solutions based on RE-ADD raw materials have a high bond strength and remain flexible when cured. They have the ability to bond to numerous natural and synthetic surfaces.
TDI Based Adhesives
A two component, hydroxyl terminated polyurethane, which requires crosslinking with isocyanate to improve heat resistance. These are ideal for shoe manufacture and fabric lamination. Typical solvents are ketones, esters and THF.
MDI Based Adhesives
A one component adhesive, with good heat resistance and which may not require crosslinking. Typical solvents are ketones and THF.
The RE-ADD polyurethane adhesive range varies from soft slow crystallising grades to fast crystallising grades which
provide immediate high green strength.
